It is *not* acceptable to post private messages in public. There are many reasons why someone might send a message privately. If you want to repost a message in public, then ask the author for permission. Alternatively, if you feel the information may be useful, you may paraphrase the message and post it without attribution.

Failure to adhere to this policy may result in your exclusion from this list.
