[Core Data] recordExistsForKey:Value method?

  • Subject: [Core Data] recordExistsForKey:Value method?
  • From: Charles Haron <email@hidden>

Hello,

Does Core Data provide a mechanism for checking the existence of a given record without performing a fetch?

For example, a method that returns "true" if a record containing a given attribute value exists.

Something like: - (BOOL) recordExistsForKey:Value

Thanks,
Charles
