I see the exact same problem running my app on Tiger when the app is
compiled under 10.3. When I re-compile the app under 10.4, the problem goes
away. This is somewhat of a pain, since my development machine still runs
10.3. I end up doing my work on 10.3, then compiling the final deployment
build on a 10.4 machine to avoid the animation bug.
Now, if you're seeing the problem when compiling on 10.4, then maybe my
experience is just a fluke....
