vImage problems in Tiger

Hi,

I'm trying to make a return to vImage now, for an image crunching app. But when I run the Tableau example project on a Sawtooth with 10.4.1, it doesn't change the actual image at all. When I run it on a 15" PowerBook, every filter turns the picture black. When I run it on my 12" AlBook, it only performs image changes on a section of the screen in the upper left corner, roughly 1/8 the size of the actual image. On a G5 (running Panther), I see no problems at all.

What gives? Any idea why I'm seeing problems like this? Are people using vImage successfully? Are there any Tiger related bugs that could be the cause of this?
