NSTabView problem under Tiger

Hi folks,

I have been developing an application in Panther and it's all been going swimmingly (mostly due to help from this list!).

Now I have Tiger and it all compiles fine but I get a different display behaviour in the app when it's running. I've looked and can't find anything that relates to my problem so forgive me if this is a known and easy problem.

I have an NSTabView sitting on an NSImageView. The NSImageView contains a PNG image with a texture. You can see what this look like when it's behaving correctly here:

This is actually a screenshot from Interface Builder running under Tiger which shows the app exactly how it will appear when it is run on Panther.

The exact same executable run on Tiger looks like this:

It's like the NSTabViewItem was transparent under Panther but isn't under Tiger..?

Can anyone help me solve this?
