I'm guessing you want to just search in the /Developer folder. You
can force an import of it:
mdimport -f "/Developer/ADC Reference Library"
Another option is MTLibrarian. It's a little long in the tooth, and
I wish it were open-sourced, but it can come in handy in a pinch.
