Hi Don,
we use Xcode to create our application and our static lib. As long as
you end up with a bsd static library (.a file) that we can use with our
Xcode projects, I don't see any problems using CC. Although Xcode is a
nice IDE and you can create a bsd static lib in minutes. The only
problem with Xcode is the exports list which is kind of a PITA! I can
provide you with the procedure should you decide to go with Xcode.
If you have any questions regarding Xcode/Mac don't hesitate to email
me!
Regards,

Hello Dominic,
I received the eMac today, thank you… I had a question
about compiling. I saw something called “Xcode alias” on the tool bar
and wondered if that is a tool I am supposed to use to compile or can I
use the native “CC”. I brought up a terminal and found that “make” and
“CC” were installed. If I use these to compile a program will that be
the correct format for you. If you send me a copy of the makefile you
use, or the compile flags, I will use the same flags for the library.
In the mean time, we’ll be working on the port.
