[NSMenuItem setImage:] and Mac OS X 10.2

According to the release notes for Mac OS X 10.3 and NSMenu:

"Menubar items will now display an image if you set it."

Is there a way to make it work on Mac OS X 10.2?


P.S: didn't find anything (a solution) in the list archives on this.
