Hey folks,
My app needs to know both the iTunes Music folder location, as well as
the boolean value of the "Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding
to library" preference. My first thought was to take a look at
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist. That didn't help. So, I
looked at the iTunes AppleScript dictionary next. No help either.
Well, turns out no matter what you set your iTunes Music folder
location to, iTunes will still reliably create these two files in
~/Music/iTunes/:
iTunes 4 Music Library
iTunes Music Library.xml
I could get the iTunes Music folder location from iTunes Music
Library.xml. But, that still leaves me with the "Copy files to iTunes
Music folder when adding to library" preference. Any ideas? Or am I not
seeing something obvious?
