I see that nobody has replied to my question, so I assume that the answer is either very simple or it is just that nobody can explain it. Anyway, I couldn't find anything about it in the documentation. So the question is, why does Cocoa overrule the value I try to set by using setMinWidth? Does it calculate an invisible limit based on the contained views?
