I have been a user of REALbasic for several years and have decided to
take the plunge into programming in Cocoa/Objective C as well. Can
anyone recommend some books and/or websites for someone just getting
started with Cocoa/Objective C?
Personally, I think that Hillegass (2nd edition) and Apple's own
online docs
are all you need. I will repeat once again my formula for how long to
expect
things to take:
1 day to learn Objective-C
1 week to work through Hillegass
1 month to write your first app on your own
1 year to stop feeling like a complete newbie
I fit this pattern almost exactly. I like this formula.
