You're correct. I just took a look at the contents of the installer on my Panther discs, and it does install libmx. So it looks like all Panther users can use C and ObjC software compiled using GCC 4.


However, it doesn't install libstdc++, so only 10.3.9 users can use C+ + software compiled using GCC 4.
