Just got a bug returned to me today (rdar://4097509) mentioning that
the lack of user feedback when using LSMinimumSystemVersion has been
fixed in 10.4.1
I haven't yet applied the update, so don't know what the user will
actually see. I plan to update this weekend.
Interesting. My version of that bug (rdar://3807111) is supposedly
fixed
in 10.4.0, but I'm still using 10.3.9, so I dunno. But they never
fixed
in in 10.3.x, so its a bit useless. :(
I finally got around to installing 10.4.1 and the bad news is that
this is still not fixed!
Hum, even if it was fixed, this would not prevent the fact that since
it's not fixed in earlier versions of the OS, this feature is somehow
dead from a deployment point of view.
