NSDocument and IB

OK I have another newbie question.

I have an NSDocument based app. I want to create connections to/from my NSDocument, in IB. However, my IB project has no NSDocument instance! So obviously, this NSDOcument is being created programatically.

How do I get my subclass of NSDocument, into IB, and then draw up connections to/from it?
