I use SMySql in my app, and I've needed to recompile it (see earlier issue with jaguar and tiger). Here's the problem. It build's fine on my machine, I copy it to a new directory: fine. But if I try to copy it to a flashdrive, or some other device, it refuses ("One or more items can't be copied..."). If I use the command line, yes I can copy the framework over because it resolves all of the links in the framework folder, but that shouldn't be necessary (I wouldn't think). What do I need to do to make the framework portable?

If you have a setuid binary in the framework, you'll get this message in the Finder. It's actually copying the files, but it's not saving the "special" permissions.
