We use this setting for the repositories cvsignore file:
build
# ignore the build directory
.DS*
# ignore the dreaded .DS_Store file
*~.*
# ignore the IB temp files

It's a backup nib, in case the one you are working on decides it
doesn't like the location of the moon. If you are checking into a
version control system, you'll want to set an ignore or whatever on
that file.

Hi. I hope this hasn't been asked to death (I did check the
archives, but maybe didn't use the right search terms.)
What's the deal with an extra .nib file with a tilde character in
the name?
I have a nib file called MainMenu.nib and a file called
MainMenu~.nib seems to get created.
I keep thinking it is some kind of intermediate file that does not
need to be put under source control. Is this correct?
Thanks.
