Root namespace DO communicating with user space DO problem

  • Subject: Root namespace DO communicating with user space DO problem

I have an object being vended by a GUI application running under a user. I want to be able to connect to that object by name from a process running in a different name space.

For example I vend "svr" under user Joe Blow then Captain Kirk on the same system wants to connect to that object. That or root owns a process that is running without connection to the window server that wants to connect to the object.

Is this possible, and how?

Best,

-Jason
