conversion between NSEvent timestamp and absolute time?

  • Subject: conversion between NSEvent timestamp and absolute time?

I haven't been able to find any information in the doc or list archives
about converting between the NSEvent timestamp "seconds since system
startup" and some form of absolute time like CFAbsoluteTime.

I'd rather not do some hack like getting the current absolute time when an
event comes in in order to empirically determine an offset, since that
assumes that there is no delay in scheduling the thread that is delivering
the event.

Basically I need to know the absolute time of "system startup".

Thanks in advance for any help.
