I am using Xcode 2.2, the error was as stated "cannot be opened because it is damaged or incomplete".

Comparison of build configurations did not reveal anything I could note. I did check and both Zerolink and Fix-and-continue were disabled in my release build.

I ended up recreating the project and reimporting my files, it now is working (another problem however, which I will post shortly).

Thanks for your help.

Outside of the IDE it works fine under the debug build, outside of the IDE the release build fails to launch, saying it cannot be opened because it is damaged or incomplete.

What is the exact error ? Which version of Xcode did you use ? It may help us to understand your problem.

You may try to compare the build configuration of both build style.

Don't forget to disable Zerolink and Fix-and-continue when you build a release version of your application.

Is there a frameworks I failed to include?

Distributed objects are defined in the Foundation framework.
