- Thread-topic: Custom NSView (or NSWindow) in IB palette
On a slightly different note, I found the following conversation in the
archives about putting a window in a palette:
http://www.cocoabuilder.com/archive/message/cocoa/2001/11/16/41765
The same scenario described there (in 2001) persists today, despite a
message in the thread saying that the requested capability was due to be
available in the "next release".
I wonder what happened?
I am probably missing something fundamental here, but maybe someone could
explain (or point to an explanation) how to create custom windows in an IB
palette.
Many thanks
Rolland
