Hi all
Are there any Quark XTension developers here that would be willing to
answer a few questions regarding the development of Quark XTensions
and how well the XTension APIs play with Cocoa?
I'm evaluating whether it would be worth it to get a Quark
developer's license and need some general info on:
- Can XTensions intercept common keyboard commands such as new and
close?
- Can XTensions "see" custom picture and text boxes created by other
extensions?
- Can Cocoa classes and GUI widgets be used in Mac versions of an
extension? (ie: WebViews, NSOutlineViews, NSDictionary, NSArray
CoreImage etc...)
- What is the average turnaround time for developer questions to
Quark? Are they reasonably responsive?
I tried registering at Quark discussion boards but It seems you need
to already be a registered developer to even ask a question there so
I thought I'd try here.
