People seem to be confused regarding WebObject 5.3 licensing.
Some people assume, that 5.3 is free, others think, that 5.3 requires
a license. Apple.Store only lists WO 5.2, but not WO 5.3 This doesn't
clarify the situation either. Some propose to buy an OS X Server pack,
since its price is $499 and contains a WO key, while the Apple.Store
listed
WO is $699.
Even people of the WO-dev mailinglist don't know, what's going on.
I've asked email@hidden, but failed to get a reply. My email
is just a week ago, but from previous inquiries, I know that replies
hardly
return soon.
If an Apple employee reads this email, please replies using PM or
forward your
comment to the WO-dev list.
Thanks and sorry for being OT.
Kinds regards,
Stefan
