I have experienced the exact same problem, and it was frustrating.  In IB,
at times it is not physically possible to draw a connector to/from a webview
in a tab -- it just never finds the target.  Unfortunately, I don't remember
how I got around this.  I have some vague recollection that it was an issue
on 10.4 but not 10.3.
