I don't care. But, the QA guy working on the application is more
comfortable adding XML to the files for testing. There are features that
exist in the application which as yet have no UI and won't for a while. He
used to (before I got on the project) just add some XML tags to enable a
feature. He is not comfortable with property list editor (and there are
some UI issues that I personally don't like either).
If it is a system wide change, I guess he will have to live with it.
However, I am seeing other preference files continue to be textual XML.
Which release notes and to what change are you referring to? I looked in
change notes for XCode 2.2, XCode 2.1 and Tiger development tools and found
no change related to either property lists or XML.
