Yes, the problem is the counter-intuitive design of IB's user interface.
Select the text you want, menu > Format > Show Fonts.
Surprise, Konstantinos!! I used IB for a year before noticing this, because
of those mini-small-regular dropdowns, I assumed, like you, that this was
all that was available.
