Ah, but did you try this or are you just talking? I did try it, and found to
my surprise that (on my machine) the content NSView of an NSTabViewItem does
not appear in the hierarchical tree view. That is why I did not recommend
this approach in my reply.
Another thing I noticed is that I could in fact draw a connection to an
NSTabViewItem's content NSView, but that this connection would then
mysteriously break. I regard this as a bug in Interface Builder: either it
should not break the connection or it should not let you draw it. m.
