Ah ha! Wish I'd seen that earilier. Still finding the good resource
sites.
At least I got the part right about controllers retaining model data
and not the other way around on my own. I like the
NSObjectController workaround because then I no longer need the
'unload' method which makes the model's cleanup much more natural.
Currently, I'm overloading setDocument to know when to do this, which
doesn't sit right with me.
