Thanks Axel. So, the caret is actually a small rectangle but not a
point... Anyway, because my application is trying to locate the text
caret in other application (e.g.: Ms Word), which may not be a pure
cocoa or carbon based application, I'm not quite sure if
-firstRectForCharacterRange: will work. There is also no guarantee that
the client application follows apple's accessibility protocol. The issu
is now getting challenge for me.
