Thanks Douglas. It seems that kEventTextInputOffsetToPos event can do
the trick. I will make further research to see if I can post the event
to TSM using SendTextInputEvent() without hiring an Input Method
Component.
I've also checked the accessibility APIs, but not optimistic, because
some clients of my application (e.g.: Ms Word, iPages) may not fully
support the accessibility protocol.
