Extending NSCalendar and NSDateFormatter?

  • Subject: Extending NSCalendar and NSDateFormatter?

I've checked the documentation, and although NSCalendar appears to be a class cluster, I don't see any documentation on what method(s) are primitives or how to properly extend the class to add additional calendars. So if I wanted to make my own NSCalendar subclass with more calendars, and wanted NSDateFormatter to recognize the names of the months and eras used by the calendar(s), how would I do that? Is that even possible?
