And in any case, I'm still getting the SIGSEGV, which doesn't

Is the document corrupted?
Perhaps, but I don't know how or why.
There is something magical about the number 1525. It's the maximum
number of objects I can get into the document without crashing. 1526
causes a crash. Thinking that maybe it was the data I was importing
that was causing a problem, I imported 1525 previously-imported
objects into a previously saved document with 1525 objects in it. It
crashed. I imported just one of the first 1525 objects into a
document with 1525 objects in it. Crash. I opened the document with
1525 objects and entered a new one myself. Crash.
I'm stumped. I can't imagine what I could be doing anywhere that
would cause this to happen since I can import the same data twice and
add to it as long as the number of objects is less than 1526. The
only thing that doesn't change any time I change something is the
number 1526.
I'll go dig into my code some more. If I can't resolve this, is this
something that an Apple tech support incident would be likely to help?
