Auto GC is on its way into ObjC. Myself, I don't like auto GC the slightest bit (and I just very much hope it will always stay optional, and do fear interfacing in future), and thus I do not really keep my eye on the progress, but you may want to check the state of the effort. I understand it is not quite useable yet, perhaps Leopard time?



I'm talking about the real scripting languages.


Again, although ObjC is not *quite* there, its flexibility allows for quite a lot: have you checked FScript?
