Matteo,
Take a look at iTableColumnHeader by Matt Gemmell:
http://mattgemmell.com/source/
In my app I used this code to make my own NSCell. Then to avoid table
column resizing issues, I actually applied this custom NSCell to an
NSTextField positioned directly above the table. I then hid the actual
table column headers, and this is working great.

Hi everyone.
Does anyone know what kind of object are the grey metal "column
headers" (I don't know what they are) found in iTunes starting from
release 6? I'm talking about the metal ones you find above the left
tables, the one with the playlists inside of it and the one above the
album cover picture. They seem table column headers, but they are not
selectable and when you click on them they don't react (unlike the
ones in table views). Are they some standard object or they are
custom ones?
Thank you all.
Bye.
