Oh, so you were trying to set a folder name to
Ogg/OpenAL? If so, it might be better to use
something like FSRenameUnicode(). This way you
don't have to do any odd converting between / and
:.
But if you're opening the file, there should be
no reason you'd ever get a / in the file name
unless you allow the user to type in a
file/folder name.

system will think it is a path and not a name, so if you replace it
with a colon all is okay. But if there is um oh. I thought that
having a colon in the name would mess it up and it does but in the
Finder you can't name a folder to have a colon in it. So I'll just
leave that out. Oh well.
