Thanks! I didn't realize that it was already connected to some other action.

So, if you've got a connection between two "things" in Interface Builder, does that mean that you would always have to disconnect them before you could connect one of them to something else?

connected the Preferences menu item to an action in my AppController
class but when I try to connect the About menu item to an action in
my AppController class, the inspector shows "Actions in
NSApplication" instead of "Actions in AppController".

What am I doing wrong?
