Hi and thank you!
Yes I know there is Google earth, but I'm writing a gps software for
macosx, and I need a very reliable map.
All the softwares at the moment are GIS or NOAA map based, so this is
the reason why I asked it.
Anyway, can I use google earth KMZ file for free? (I don't think
eheheh), and where can I find these files?
Thank you very much for help

Hi there,
Maybe not quite what you had in mind. Google Earth's KMZ files are
really just zipped xml files, so all you need to generate them is an
xml parser / library. Cocoa has some XML support. I am sure somebody
who has used the Cocoa XML framework could provide some more
information. There is a Mac release available for Google Earth, so no
real need to re-invent the wheel, unless you want something very
special.
