Folks;
It's my gentle opinion that:
1) toolbars have become a generally accepted UI element
2) unified title/toolbar look of recent Apple apps has increased
relevancy of toolbars
3) consistent toolbar images across Finder/iApps/proApps/
developerApps would be a GOOD thing for users
4) its expensive and time consuming for every developer to pay for
creating their own images
5) there are some basic toolbar items that many apps could use:
(e.g. Add/New, Delete/Remove, Edit, ...)
So I have a 2 fold question:
1) I assume that images in .../Resources are IP of vendor.
Therefore it is inappropriate to hijack images from ANY application.
Is this a correct view? Are there any exceptions?
2) Is there any repository of suitable toolbar images which are
available for general use? I hark back to the notion that
consistency of toolbar items would be a good thing for users?
