QuickTime has the advantage that you can take charge of the volume
(loudness) of the sound; NSSound gives you no way to do this. Your users
will appreciate this. :) As for overkill, well, if you can guarantee the
presence of QTKit, it's *so* easy to use that there seems no reason not to.
