Chad - I am pretty sure the "split architecture infrastructure" has
been in place for quite some time. So if you produce a split
architecture binary, it will run on 10.1 as long as the PowerPC half
of that binary is compiled in such a way as to be compatible.
Hopefully I'm not feeding you a line here, but I think everything
will "just work" as long as you make sure the build environment is
targeted at 10.1 in the same way that you must target 10.2 to be
compatible with that release.

Has anyone been successful creating a Universal Binary that works
as far back as Mac OS 10.1? I've found a few links (such as this
one: http://www.cocoadev.com/index.pl?UniversalBinariesAndJaguar )
which discuss Universal Binaries which can work on Mac OS 10.2,
which is also good, but I'd ultimately prefer if I could go back as
far as Mac OS 10.1.
