WebView can't change background color?

  • Subject: WebView can't change background color?

Before filing a Radar report on this, I thought I'd run it by the list to see if there are any workarounds, or if there is a reason why this functionality doesn't work.

I have an editable WebView. I open up the Font Palette, and try to change the "Document Color" attribute. The bug is... it won't change. One would think you'd have the ability to change the background of the web page with the Document Color attribute. This missing functionality is kind of annoying, because there is no other pre- built way to change the background color of a web view.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this before I file this as a bug?

-Colin
