Freeze Dried Objects/Archiving

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a bit of help on archiving a custom class to disk. Is it possible to archive a object to a file on disk and later reload it at a later date into memory?

I have read the documentation on NSCoder and NSArchiver and also searched the internet for example but couldn't find anything from which I could figure it out myself.

Can you give be some pointers on how to start archiving my objects?

Regards,

Daniel
