Daniel,

    I was trying to find this information too a year or so ago for our
application. As I recall, the answer I got was that certain special keys,
like the volume/mute keys, simply can't be generated/simulated by an
application. So I had to give up on trying to emulate those keys.

    Good luck in finding a solution, but I'm thinking it's not going to
happen.
