But how would one find this information without the help of this list?

Google?

<http://www.google.com/search?q=SystemConfiguration +site:developer.apple.com&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8>

There are two steps: 1. From "Detecting Internet" to SystemConfiguration.framework. Google does not help for this.

2. From SystemConfiguration.framework to its documentation.
As this documentation is on my disk, it is silly to use an external source like Google. Also: I sometimes do not have access to the net.
A much more sensible solution would be to use Xcode -> Help -> Documentation.
But this just does not work.

So: I still need some tool (like AppKiDo for the AppKit etc.) which finds things in the local documentation in /Developer/ADC Reference Library and also in /Developer/Examples.
Spotlight might be a solution, only I think it is hardcoded NOT to find anything in /Developer.

Kind regards,

Gerriet.
