The Lake Forest Cocoa-heads will be meeting tomorrow on Tuesday, 3/14 from 7pm to 9pm. We will be at Diedrich Coffee,, 22621 Lake Forest Dr, Lake Forest 92630. While we focus on Cocoa, just about any Mac development topic is fair game. In addition, we discuss other tools, languages, and options for development, and integrating with those other environments.

The topic of this months meeting is 'Binding a custom view subclass'

At previous meetings, we implemented the barest bones of a simple logic puzzle with a Core Data data model behind it. Before this can be considered an actual puzzle, it needs to draw actual circles on a page, handle mouse drags, and update in response to user changes. Our next step is to turn this custom view into an IB palette so we can use bindings to configure it.

We will also hear a brief review of Step Into Xcode, and a summary of a great many testimonials for Big Nerd Ranch.

Finally, Sourceforge lit up subversion recently, which lets us distribute the code in a modern way. Feel free to bring up any questions regarding it.

Scott
