Reading that Cocoa/ObjC is getting more mature with less support for Java API...
...I'm wondering if in the future, the Quartz API/framework will become more Cocoa/Obj and hence,
less need for the Core Foundation.

That is, will the Core Foundation/C further morph into Cocoa/ObjC APIs.?

automatically in a day. Of course, there's more to the syntax than
that, but you get the idea - immerse yourself for a while and it will
become natural very quickly. Additionally, XCode/Cocoa/Obj-C seems
more future-proof than CW/PowerPlant or Cocoa/Java (which is
stagnating, IIRC).
