MultiDocument application and Recent Files in Trash Directory

  • Subject: MultiDocument application and Recent Files in Trash Directory

I have a multi-document application. If the user uses Finder to move a document to Trash then the Recent Files menu still contains the name of the file that has been trashed and it can be opened by the user.

What is the simplest way to prevent the user from opening documents that are in the Trash Directory via the Recent Files menu option?

Keith from DownUnder.
