launching my app breaks command-tab

Hi

Launching my document based cocoa app breaks the command-tab (cycling through apps) feature. It breaks regardless of wether I have any windows open and un-breaks as soon as I quit.

Before I 'waste' time looking into this, does this sound familiar to anyone? and indeed does anyone know of a solution?
