Sill no luck.
I tried following a suggestion that I quit and relaunch IB, but I
think my question is more fundamental than a s/w issue.
In order to use an image in an NSImageView widget, does the image
first need to be added to the Images tab of IB's main panel? If so,
how is this done? Do I need to sub-class and instantiate an NSImage
object first? I've tried, but still haven't found a mechanism for
importing the image.
Note that I am not working in Xcode. I'm building a GUI in IB, then
using the PyObjC bridge for coding.
Thanks
Scott

Pardon the simple question below. I'm new to Cocoa &
InterfaceBuilder.
How does one specify an image content for a NSImageView widget in
InterfaceBuilder? My attempts to declare one in the Inspector
Window's --> Attributes --> Image field yields a broken image
icon. (The image in question is a jpeg; I assume jpegs are
supported, though I can't find docs on which image file formats are
supported.)
Also, I've found a number of docs on working with cocoa widgets
programmatically. Is there a good source for docs on working with
specific widgets in IB?
Thanks in advance!
