Using NSUserDefaultsController in a plugin

  • Subject: Using NSUserDefaultsController in a plugin

I have a plugin that I would like to use Bindings and "Shared Defaults" to control its preferences. I have set this up in its nib file. But if I do this then it saves the plugins preferences to the host applications preference file. i would like to save the defaults for the plugin's to its own preference file.

Is there a way that I can specify the "Shared Defaults" instance created in my nib file to work with the Identifier for my plugin?

thanks for the help

-dave
