I've seen this with one of my own applications with random users.
Interestingly, my app is not localized (it's 100% American English,
God help us all) and the users who've complained about it all had
English selected as their system language.
I do believe it's a bug, though a quit-and-relaunch of the
application fixes it and it's quite rare (reported once every few
months).
